Divorce
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split are rumors
Despite the rumors of trouble which surround their relationship, it seems
it's business as usual for Hollywood's golden couple Brad Pitt [1] and
Angelina Jolie [2]. Friends of the pair have reportedly said they are not
about to split up, as was claimed in the British press over the weekend. US
publication People states that multiple sources close to them have put paid
to the reports. "Everything is fine" between the parents-of-six says one
source. Another says the break-up claims are "totally false." A separate
source described the claims as false to celebrity website TMZ, which first
broke the news of Michael Jackson's death. The couple's last red carpet
appearance together was in December, when they joined George Clooney at the
Snowflake Ball. There they appeared very much in love, sitting close and
sharing loving looks as they sat down at their table. Following that
appearance they were spotted on January 2 enjoying a romantic dinner a deux
at a French eaterie in New York. The couple face constant rumours about the
state of their five year relationship, but these have always been without
foundation.

Dennis Hopper, wife, agree to stay away order
Court records show Dennis Hopper's wife has agreed to stay 10 feet away from
the ailing actor and not contact him directly as they wrangle through their
divorce. Documents filed Thursday in Los Angeles show that Hopper, who is
battling prostate cancer, will also have daily visits with the couple's
daughter. Hopper sought an order Thursday barring his wife, Victoria, from
contacting or communicating with the "Easy Rider" star and his adult
children. The actor filed for divorce in January and both sides have cited
irreconcilable differences for the breakup. Victoria Hopper claimed in court
papers that the actor smoked marijuana around their daughter and his illness
had left him unable to make sound decisions. Hopper denied those claims in
court filings Thursday.
Gossip Girl's Matthew Settle and Wife Split
Gossip Girl star Matthew Settle and his wife, Naama Nativ have split,
according to a source. "They have in fact separated," the source confirms to
People Magazine. "They have been separated for a while now." The source says
that legal proceedings are still underway and no divorce papers between
Settle, 40, and Nativ, 26, have been filed yet. The couple, who lived
together in Manhattan, where Settle was based for his role as family
patriarch on Gossip Girl, welcomed a daughter, Aven Angelica Settle, last
March. Despite the family strife, "the baby is doing great," says the source.
And Settle continues to play an active role in his little girl's upbringing.
"Both parents are devoted to their child," adds the source. "Aven is still a
part of Matthew's everyday life." A rep for the actor declined to comment.
Sandra Bullock Prenup: Cheating Husband Gets Nothing
Sandra Bullock and Jesse James have a prenuptial agreement that specifies he
gets no money in a divorce if he cheats during the marriage, RadarOnline.com
has learned exclusively. While James is financially successful on his own,
Bullock is Hollywood’s top actress after her Oscar victory and commands top
paychecks. Her fortune is far bigger than his. “If she divorces Jesse and
proves he was cheating, which won’t be hard, Sandra won’t have to pay
Jesse anything,” a source familiar with the situation told RadarOnline.com.
Jesse has already privately confessed his infidelity to Sandra. He has been
linked to four women and told his wife that there are seven women in total.
James is at Sierra Tucson and his friend and lawyer describes him as a
“broken man.” James told Bullock he would get help “like Tiger Woods”
did. But Bullock told him she didn’t care and even James’ rep
acknowledged he went into treatment without a request by his wife. Bullock
told James she is going to divorce him but has not yet filed papers. She has
stayed out of public since James’ cheating was exposed and has spent most
of the time in her Hollywood Hills home. A source close to the Bullock-James
situation told RadarOnline.com that the actress protected her fortune
extremely well in her prenuptial agreement. Bullock was suspicious that James
was cheating during the marriage and confronted him several times, But he
always denied it and said he was faithful. Now that so many women have come
forward and James has admitted cheating, he stands to get nothing from a
divorce. Even so, he is still hoping to save the marriage and has told
Bullock he will do whatever it takes. “Right now Sandra is not thinking
about the money,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “She’s protected
financially. “She’s just trying to deal with this mess.”
Tori Spelling: Dean and I "Not Headed for Divorce"
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott aren't splitting up. "We're not headed for
divorce," Spelling, 36, on Monday's Today show. "We're committed to each
other, we're committed to this family. But you know, we work on things just
like everyone else." Rumors that the couple of four years were calling it
quits sprouted up after footage from the fifth season of their Oxygen reality
show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, showed them feuding. "It's like you
got more and more unhappy and angry," Spelling says to her husband, 43. "I
just want the old Dean back. I really do. I miss you so much." But, Spelling
-- who is mom to Liam, 3, and Stella, 2 -- tells the new issue of Us Weekly
that "there are good days and bad days with everything. I'm happy fans will
see we have ups and downs like everyone else." Despite the rough patch, the
couple says they wouldn't change anything about their lives -- or take their
show off TV. "If we were on another series, or Dean was, we'd be gone 17
hours a day," Spelling tells Us. Adds McDermott, "Its a lot of fun and we get
to spend time together." Also on the mend: Tori's relationship with her mom,
Candy. Their longstanding feud peaked after Aaron Spelling's 2006 death.
“It's a work in progress, but it's great," Spelling says. "She sees the
grandkids all the time. She loves them, they're taken by her. So we're just
working towards improving our relationship."
Jim Carrey No Longer Jenny McCarthy's Yes Man
Did Jenny McCarthy decide she's too young to be dating a grandpa? The Dirty
Love star and her longtime beau, Jim Carrey, have called it quits. "Jim and
Jenny have recently decided to end their five-year relationship," Carrey
publicist Marleah Leslie said in a statement to E! News. "They are grateful
for the many blessings they have shared and wish each other the very best."
The couple first announced their amicable split via their respective Twitter
feeds. Just a few weeks ago, McCarthy dished to E! News about Carrey's return
to form after packing on major poundage to play Curly Howard in the upcoming
Three Stooges movie and about how it feels to be a 37-year-old pseudo
grandmother. "I think I'm going to rock at it and love the kid to pieces,"
she told us. "It doesn't bother me when people call me 'grandma.' I love
nothing more in the world." Furthermore, she added, "I love Jim in any form.
He could have no arms and no legs and I'll love the stump of him." The
rubber-faced duo hooked up in 2005 and quickly became a close-knit pair, with
Carrey even joining McCarthy's controversial crusade to create awareness of a
possible (and still unconfirmed) link between childhood vaccinations and
autism.
'Human Target' and 'Fringe' Stars Separate
It's over between Fringe star Anna Torv and husband Mark Valley. The couple
separated a few months ago, their rep confirms to UsMagazine.com. They
married in a quiet, small wedding in December 2008. Australia-born Torv, 31
and Valley, 45, played lovers and fellow FBI agents in early episodes of
Fringe; Valley now headlines the Fox series Human Target. Before their on-set
romance was revealed, Valley gushed to E! News last year about his costar. "I
think [Anna] is just a fantastic actor and I really like working with
her...She's my favorite on the show, to be honest with you."
Kate Walsh's Divorce Finalized
"Private Practice" star Kate Walsh is officially divorced from her ex-husband
Alex Young, and "The Insider" has the court papers. The documents show that
Walsh and Young's marriage was dissolved by a judge on Monday. In previous
court papers, Walsh listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for
their split. The ex-couple wed in September 2007.
Sandra Bullock Steps Out for First Time
How did Sandra Bullock spend her first Mother's Day as a mom? She and newly
adopted 3 1/2-month-old boy son Louis visited an art gallery in the French
Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana (see photo, left). The 46-year-old actress
-- who filed for divorce from Jesse James Apr. 23 after he cheated on her --
has been laying low ever since she announced she had adopted. Why did she
stay silent so long about adopting? From a mom and baby bonding perspective,
"it was common sense," her friend and former assistant Mark Brunetz, who was
privy to the adoption, tells Us Weekly. "There's an integration process."
Bullock’s control issues also played a role. In fact, Brunetz says the
fiercely private actress — who had guests at her 2005 wedding sign what a
source calls "mile-long" confidentiality agreements — masterminded the
plan. "She wanted to be in charge of how the news got out," Brunetz tells Us.
"She is not the While You Were Sleeping girl next door. She's savvy." She
managed to keep the baby a secret with the help of her trusted inner circle
-- including George Lopez, her sister Gesine Prado and stepkids Chandler, 15,
Jesse Jr., 12, and Sunny, 6. Bullock has always wanted kids. "We talked about
it in college," Brunetz, also a classmate at East Carolina University, tells
Us. "She never spoke specifically about adoption, but it was never ruled
out." Lopez tells Us she is enjoying motherhood: She's "a caring mother, like
all mothers."
Jesse James Says Bullock Likely Suspected Affairs
The disgraced husband of Sandra Bullock says the Hollywood actress most
likely suspected him of having had affairs throughout their five-year
marriage, but he talked his way out of it. James, 41, told ABC News show
"Nightline" in excerpts aired on Tuesday that he admitted to Bullock he
cheated on her after the first media report of his affairs surfaced just
after she had won her first Oscar in March for "The Blind Side." "I told her
basically everything, that I had affairs outside of our marriage," he said.
"I think she's had her suspicions in the past, but, you know. I lied, and
lied my way out of it. I lied to everyone about everything, even to myself."
James had affairs with at least four women -- one of them while Bullock
filming what would be her Oscar-winning role in sports drama "The Blind
Side," according to various reports. Bullock, 45, had given emotional
speeches during Hollywood's awards season thanking James for his support, but
she left their southern California home when the cheating scandal broke.
James says he felt disheartened when he saw pictures of Bullock with the baby
they had only recently adopted and read she wanted to take the baby in her
name. "Nightline" said he wanted to continue to co-parent their adopted
child. "It made me sad but I realize why things have to be done in a certain
way," he said. He said the couple found out last Christmas they had been
successful in adopting the baby boy from New Orleans and received him on New
Year's Day. "To see her in the role as mother is, like, one of the most
amazing things I've ever seen. She is like a fish to water. As soon as she
put that baby in her hands it was automatic and amazing," he said. In
addition, he regretted photos that showed up in U.S. tabloids of him posing
in a Nazi salute. "Dealing with losing my marriage, my son and embarrassing
everyone and decimating my life, but to be called a racist on top of that is,
it makes me really sad," he said. "It's not funny."
Shania Twain Is Officially Divorced – and 'Radiantly Happy'
Two years after getting her heart broken by her husband's relationship with
her best friend, Shania Twain [1] is legally single again – which is
not to say she's back on the market.
Even as her divorce from Robert "Mutt" Lange was quietly being finalized
in Switzerland, Twain [2], 44, was looking like a woman in love at the Swiss
Red Cross Ball on May 29. Dancing the night away with Frédéric Thiébaud
(the other woman's ex-husband), 40, "she was radiantly happy," says a source
close to her. "Her happiness certainly shone through," says her friend
Stéphane Lagonico, an ambassador for the Swiss Red Cross, who organized the

divorce final this week, according to documents filed in Switzerland, Twain

of it. "Shania [7] and Fred are a couple that fit together," says a friend.

Kelsey Grammer's Wife Files for Divorce
Kelsey Grammer's third marriage is coming to an end. The actor's wife,
Camille Donatacci, filed for divorce in a Los Angeles court Thursday, citing
irreconcilable differences. According to the filing, Donatacci is seeking
primary physical custody of their daughter Mason, 8, and son Jude, 5, as well
as spousal support. Grammer, 55, is currently appearing on Broadway in La
Cage Aux Folles, and was recently nominated for a Tony Award. Donatacci, 41,
a former Playboy model, is rumored to be starring on Bravo's upcoming Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills. "Kelsey and Camille value privacy," the actor's
rep said in a statement. "They understand that private lives sometimes get
played out in public but ask on this occasion that their privacy – and the
privacy of their children – be respected." The couple have been married
since August 1997. Their two children were both born via a surrogate. Grammer
also has two other children. His first wife, Doreen Alderman, was a dance
instructor, and is the mother of his daughter Spencer, 26. The actor was
married a second time, in 1992, to Leigh-Anne Cushany, a former exotic
dancer. During that marriage, Grammer had his daughter, Greer, 18, with
hairdresser Barrie Bucker. Thursday night, after his performance in the
Tony-winning revival of the musical La Cage aux Folles, Grammer met with fans
and signed autographs, appreciatively accepting their compliments outside the
Longacre Theatre stage door. TMZ first reported news of the divorce filing.

Larry King, wife, withdraw divorce filings in LA
Court records show Larry King [1] and his wife have withdrawn competing
divorce petitions filed in Los Angeles. Records show divorce proceedings were
dismissed on Wednesday. The move comes nearly three months after the host of
CNN's "Larry King Live" filed to end his nearly 13-year marriage to his
seventh wife, Shawn. She also sought to end the marriage, but the couple soon
reconciled. King announced his retirement last month. He cited the desire to
spend more time with his wife and two young sons as one of the benefits of
ending his show after 25 years. Shawn King was treated for an apparent
overdose of prescription drugs in Utah in May. Larry King's spokesman at the
time said the couple would be staying together. They were married in 1997.
