Scandals
Kanye West: Being a Sex Addict Fueled Success
Kanye West is on another magazine cover and as usual the rapper turned
auto-tune singer turned fashion designer is full of Kanye-isms. To name a
few: "Put this in the magazine: There's nothing more to be said about music.
I'm the f--king end-all, be-all of music.” "Oh my God, I'm one of the
greatest rappers in the world. I'll get on a track and completely ee-nihilate
that track, I'll eat it and rip it in half. I wouldn't have to think of
it.” "I have, like, nuclear power, like a superhero, like Cyclops when he
puts his glasses on." What other new tales of grandeur might Kanye have added
to his repertoire? Just that a sexual addiction at a young age has somehow
fueled his drive for greatness... "People ask me a lot about my drive," he
says. "I think it comes from, like, having a sexual addiction at a really
young age. Look at the drive that people have to get sex—to dress like this
and get a haircut and be in the club in the freezing cold at 3 a.m., the
places they go to pick up a girl. If you can focus the energy into something
valuable, put that into work ethic..." That actually sounds more like normal
behavior than a full-blown sexual addiction, but if Kanye says he was a sex
addict then he was probably the greatest addict to have ever been addicted to
sex in the history of sexual studies. He also notes that he was a highly
advanced computer programmer of sexual addiction and produced his first Super
Mario Bros.: The Penis Remix in the seventh grade: "My game was very sexual.
The main character was, like, a giant penis. It was like Mario Brothers, but
the ghosts were, like, vaginas. Mind you, I'm 12 years old, and this is stuff
30-year-olds are programming. You'd have to draw in and program every little
step—it literally took me all night to do a step, 'cause the penis, y'know,
had little feet and eyes." Cute, right? However, it should be noted that
Kanye is over music and penis games as he's now turning his great sexual
addiction nuclear energy exclusively to fashion. He plans on moving to Paris
and being mentored by his fashion idol Marc Jacobs. In fact, Yeezy is so into
M.J., he intentionally left the designer's number on the table for his
Details interviewer to see.
Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston Share Oscar Spotlight
While Slumdog Millionaire piled up the Oscars Sunday night, Angelina Jolie
and Jennifer Aniston defied expectations and piled on the smiles – as their
dual appearance at Hollywood's night of nights was as smooth as the silk
gowns that filled the Kodak Theater. Jolie, of course, attended with her
partner and fellow nominee, Brad Pitt, while his ex-wife, Aniston, was
accompanied by her boyfriend, John Mayer. Pitt and Jolie told PEOPLE that
their six kids were home "throwing spaghetti against the wall," while the two
of them were enjoying a date night. For their part, Mayer chatted with fellow
audience member Queen Latifah, while Aniston schmoozed with Diane Lane, who
was accompanying her husband, Milk Supporting Actor nominee Josh Brolin. When
it came to the seating arrangements in the Kodak, Mayer and Mayer were not
far from Pitt and Jolie – just about 12 seats away. For weeks leading up to
the Oscars, it was rumored that Aniston would be a presenter at the show,
though no official confirmation was released by the Academy. In the end, the
Marley & Me star, along with Jack Black, presented the Animation awards.
During Aniston's time onstage, cameras panned to Jolie as she laughed while
Aniston and Black joked together as they playfully announced the nominees and
winners in several categories. Later, both Aniston and Mayer clapped while
Nicole Kidman introduced Jolie as one of the Best Actress nominees and while
Pitt was announced as one of the Best Actor nominees.
Tom Sizemore Investigated for Theft
Repeat law-breaker Tom Sizemore is under investigation for a theft at a Los
Angeles-area Verizon Wireless store. TMZ broke the story of a heist caught on
security cameras, with two men stealing phones - one of whom bears a striking
resemblance to 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Saving Private Ryan' star Tom Sizemore.
The video also shows the man who appears to be Sizemore reaching over the
counter to grab a pen and a highlighter. The LAPD confirmed to TMZ that they
were investigating the possible involvement of Sizemore in the crime. In
2007, Sizemore was charged with seven drug-related counts, including
transportation and possession of methamphetamines and being under the
influence of a controlled substance. He completed the term of his parole in
January. Tom's lawyer has stated that his client is "innocent until proven
guilty."
Hulk Hogan: 'I Totally Understand O.J.'
Hulk Hogan is causing controversy with a Rolling Stone interview in which he
says he understands O.J. Simpson. The aging '80s wrestling icon reveals that
he's so frustrated at his current troubles -- wife Linda filing for divorce
and locking him out of his house and allegedly spending his assets while
reportedly romancing a much younger man -- that he's seeing red. "I could've
turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody's throat,"
he tells the magazine. "You see a 19 year old boy driving your Escalade,
sleeping in your bed, with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J."
Linda Hogan Continues War of Words Against Hulk
Linda Hogan continues to retaliate against controversial comments made by her
estranged husband Hulk Hogan in a Rolling Stone interview. In a press
statement released by her rep Gary Smith, Linda says: "Hulk thinks he can do
whatever he wants, to whomever he wants, whenever he wants. He is your
classic narcissist who demands total control and will go to any extent
necessary to get it. His violent and scary mood swings have been my nightmare
for too many years. I hope for the sake of our kids that he gets the
psychological help for himself and the safety of others." In the Rolling
Stone interview that triggered the controversy, Hulk said, "I could've turned
everything into a crime scene, like O.J. (Simpson), cutting everybody's
throat. You see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, sleeping in your
bed, with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J." On Wednesday, a rep
for Hogan made a follow-up statement to ET regarding the article: "Hulk in no
way condones the O.J. situation. As part of a larger conversation, he
referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation." In
Linda's latest statement, Smith says: "For those who buy his claim the
comment was taken out of context, read the rest of Rolling Stone and
determine for yourself if his suicidal tendencies coupled with the use of
drugs and alcohol make him a danger. His actions in the past years have been
very disturbing. Linda wants all of this to be over so she can move on with
her life."
Kate Gosselin: Tabloids Are Turning My Life Into Hell
As scandalous headlines continue to surround Kate Gosselin, her husband Jon,
and their eight kids, the fed-up reality star is wondering when people will
stop attacking her. "Before this, I'd never stood on line at the grocery
store, looked at the people on the cover of magazines, and thought about what
they're going through," she tells PEOPLE. "I'd never thought, 'Oh my god,
this is totally doing them in.' But now, I understand what they live with:
Everywhere you go you're being stalked, you're being followed – it's hell,
on the cover of a magazine." Kate admits she's often been an easy target for
those who want to make her out to seem like a monster. "In the first two and
a half years that we were doing the show (Jon & Kate Plus Eight), I felt very
ugly towards fans," she says. "The gawking, that sort of response creeped me
out. I was not willing or ready to accept what you get back when you put your
life out there." But over time, Kate learned to embrace the attention. "At
some point, I turned around and I realized, 'Okay, people are pulling for us,
the feel inspired by us, they love us. It clicked: without the fans there is
no show, without the show, there is no job." A Breaking Point Though the
Gosselins have gotten used to interest in their lives, the scrutiny of Jon
and Kate has become increasingly intense since reports of the couple's
alleged infidelities hit the newsstands. It’s tough to escape when the job
that keeps their family afloat is also keeping them in the tabloid glare –
and even the tough-minded mama has her breaking point. "It's so scary," she
says of the lengths to which some go to cover her family. "It's like one of
those movies where you have to change your identity and go underground. I've
been saying, 'Let's find a country where our show doesn't air, and let's just
go there until this all dies.' I have to laugh about this, or else I'll cry.
It's a matter of, when will they stop?" No matter what might be said about
her, Kate says if anyone really wants to see her bare her fangs, they only
have to go after her kids. "I don't want them dragged into this. It kills
me," she says. "I'm far from perfect, but I've started to prioritize what is
important, what has to change, what I can live with, and what I have to live
with. My children are important. My attitude is important. My marriage is
important, and though I don't know where that's going right now, I know I can
definitely choose my attitude. And I know that I will never give up, I will
not stop, I will not fail my kids. Everything else I can't control, I'm just
going to have to learn to live with it."
Ex-Wife Reveals David Carradine's 'Kinky' Habits
As David Carradine's family and friends try to make sense of his death, more
details about the actor's bondage and sexual fetishes are coming out. In an
interview with RadarOnline.com, Gail Jensen, Carradine's third ex-wife, said
he enjoyed tying himself up in the bedroom of their California ranch and
experimented with drowning himself in their pool. "He had his kinky moments,"
said Jensen, who was married to Carradine from 1986 to 1997. She added that
the late actor saw the sex acts as a form of meditation and stress release.
In a separate interview, Jensen revealed that Carradine "would tie himself
up, and I would walk in and see him and say, 'Oh, my God, David, you've got
to be kidding me.'" She added, "He liked to be tied up. And he could tie
himself up ... He spent days planning a different feature. He would go to a
hardware store and buy the stuff." Jensen's sentiment was echoed by the late
actor's fourth and most recent ex-wife. Shocked to hear about the nude death
photos that were published of Carradine over the weekend, Marina Anderson
said her four-year marriage to the actor was a "roller coaster." Anderson,
the actress and artist who has been credited with resuscitating Carradine's
film career, is writing a book about her turbulent relationship with the
actor, who was found hanged in Thailand last week. "The dynamics were pretty
heavy," she told ABCNews.com. "I don't want to get into it or I will get
emotional."
Miley Cyrus new photo scandal: real or fake?
Just when we thought Miley Cyrus was starting to steer clear of her “bad
girl” image, new photos allegedly showing the pop princess engaged in a
sexual activity have hit the Internet. "The alleged photo of Miley Cyrus
circulating the internet is completely fabricated," the singer's rep tells
the Daily News. While Cyrus, 16, has been busy working on her new movie,
“The Last Song,” in Georgia, fans are left wondering if the "Hannah
Montana" star is as innocent as she wants people to believe. It is unknown
whether the images of Cyrus are authentic, but this wouldn’t be the first
time the teen has been involved in a photo scandal. In 2008, parents were
outraged when the then 15-year-old singer posed semi-topless for the cover of
Vanity Fair. The singer continued to raise eyebrows when her cell phone was
hacked and leaked pictures showed Cyrus provocatively posing in bikinis and a
wet bathing suit. As for the teen star’s latest photo scandal, several
websites have debunked the authenticity of the photos by proving how an
original image could have been altered.
Lindsay Lohan posts topless picture on Twitter
For a minute, Lindsay Lohan was pretending to be serious about acting again.
The starlet landed a role in the independent movie, “The Other Side,” and
told producer Kent Harper she would be “serious” and “committed” to
the project, which starts filming in October. So what does an
attention-craving actress do until fall? In Lohan’s case: post a semi-nude
photo of yourself on the web. The actress, 22, sent out a topless picture of
herself with long, blonde extensions strategically covering her chest on
Twitter. Lohan, who is Fornarina’s summer 2009 spokeswoman, took the
self-portrait on her Blackberry during a shoot for the Italian clothing label
in January. "OLD PHOTOS," she tweeted on Monday. "I'm THAT bored." Lohan may
have been bored, but she wasn’t dumb. She tagged E! correspondent Ben Lyons
and gossip blogger Perez Hilton in the photo’s caption. Lohan’s latest
self-exploitation stunt comes after string of mishaps that have followed the
actress. After two unidentified men attempted to unsuccessfully break into
her Hollywood residence in May, Lohan’s relationship with on-off gal pal
Samantha Ronson finally hit rock bottom. The actress is now under
investigation for the disappearance of $400,000 worth of Dior jewelry that
went missing from a magazine photoshoot in London.
Brown admits Rihanna assault
R&B singer Chris Brown has pleaded guilty in the US to one count of assault
on his former girlfriend, pop star Rihanna. The last-minute plea deal came
before a hearing at a Los Angeles court at which Rihanna was due to give
evidence. After the hearing, his lawyer said he was looking at it as an
opportunity "to get his career back on track".
Hudgens In New Nude Snaps Scandal
Lawyers acting on behalf of "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens are
battling to remove a series of pictures from the Internet which allegedly
showing the actress posing nude, because they were reportedly taken when she
was underage.
Gossip Web sites were sent into a frenzy on Wednesday, when pictures
appearing to show Hudgens naked leaked online. It was unclear whether the
blurry shots were of Hudgens, but celebrity blogger Perez Hilton claims they
are. Hilton alleges lawyers for Hudgens, 20, contacted him and asked him to
remove the snaps from his site because the star was underage when they were
taken. This isn't the first time Hudgens has found herself at the center of a
naked photo scandal. In 2007, pictures taken of Hudgens posing provocatively
both nude and in lingerie appeared online, forcing the Disney star to issue a
public apology.
Sharoukh Khan Calls Airport Detainment an "Unfortunate Procedure"
Bollywood star Sharoukh Khan said he was humiliated after he was detained for
questioning at an American airport. But later downplayed the incident as an
"unfortunate procedure." Khan, one of the Indian film industry's biggest
stars, was questioned for more than an hour Friday at New Jersey's Newark
International Airport. He said he was detained because his picture showed up
on a security alert list, but immigration officials said the actor was never
"formally held" and that the questioning was part of a routine process, the
Associated Press reports. Khan is currently promoting a film titled My Name
is Khan — about racial profiling of Muslims after 9/11.
Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart's 'Naked'
A tape starring "Grey's Anatomy" hot doc Eric Dane, his actress-wife Rebecca
Gayheart and former Miss U.S. Teen Kari Ann Peniche appeared on Gawker.com
Monday afternoon. While no one is seen performing sexual acts, the three are
seen nude in the video. "This is an unfortunate incident where someone stole
some property, personal property, among three very good friends," Peniche's
manager, David Weintraub, told ABCNews.com today. "They were very good
friends when the tape was filmed a few years ago. I don't know if they're
good friends now." An LAPD representative told ABCNews.com that police are
looking into the release of the tape. In the video clip, edited down from its
original 12-minute length, Peniche, Dane and Gayheart prance naked around
Peniche's Los Angeles apartment, lounge in a hottub and discuss their
potential porn names -- a pop culture phenomenon in which people create a
moniker out of the names of a childhood pet and the street they grew up on.
"My alter-ego name is Peter," Dane says. "My dog growing up was called
Cocaine, and I lived on Manor Drive, so I'm Cocaine Manor." Through it all,
Dane, Peniche and Gayheart appear to be intoxicated. Midway through the clip,
Gayheart says she has to lie down because she's "so high." Marty Singer, who
represents Dane and Gayheart, issued a statement to People.com Monday,
saying, "This is simply a private, consensual moment involving a married
couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the
public." Singer added, "Although the participants are nude, the tape is not a
'sex tape.' It is a private tape made for only my clients' personal use, and
nobody has the right to exploit it. If anyone exploits the tape, they will be
violating my clients' rights and will be exposed to significant liability."
Singer did not immediately respond to ABCNews.com's requests for comment.
Ex-Miss California sues over gay marriage comment
Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has sued beauty pageant organizers
claiming she was wrongfully fired for saying marriage should be only between
a man and a woman, her lawyer said on Monday. Two months after her
controversial statement at the Miss USA pageant in April, organizers fired
Prejean saying she broke her contract by failing to make appearances on their
behalf. Prejean's attorney Charles LiMandri said pageant officials based
their decision to terminate her contract on invitations Prejean received for
events she was never required to attend. "There was a strained relationship,
and it became that way when she gave that answer and would not back off of
it. That's what this is really all about," LiMandri told Reuters. Prejean,
22, made headlines worldwide when she said she believed only men and women
should be allowed to wed in reply to a question by a gay celebrity blogger
and pageant judge. She subsequently was named first runner-up. In the weeks
that followed, she claimed the answer cost her the Miss USA crown. Her answer
came as political leaders across the United States were considering whether
to adopt or ban gay marriage, and she became a lightning rod of attention on
the topic. Prejean drew support from gay marriage opponents, and she angered
those who backed same-sex weddings. She agreed to appear in advertisements
opposing state laws allowing same-sex couples to wed, and she became a
fill-in host for television program "Fox & Friends," generally considered a
conservative show on the Fox News Channel. Topless photos of Prejean appeared
on the Internet and word spread that the pageant helped her pay for breast
implants. Pageant organizers initially retained Prejean, but in June they
fired her claiming she had violated her contract by not making appearances on
their behalf. Prejean's lawsuit was filed in a Los Angeles Superior Court.
LiMandri said she is seeking damages of an undetermined amount. Celebrity
businessman and TV personality Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant
with which Miss California USA is associated, was not named in the lawsuit.
Roger Neal, a spokesman for pageant organizers declined immediate comment.
Chris Brown remembers Rihanna beating
He’s ashamed and sorry and wished it never happened. But there’s one
thing Chris Brown says he most certainly is not: forgetful. In a detailed
statement to PEOPLE, the singer clarifies what he calls incorrect reports —
based a clip of an interview with Larry King airing Wednesday night — about
the events with Rihanna that led to his arrest: “There have been reports on
the Internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna.
I want to try and set things straight.”
Tyson, Holyfield mix it up with Oprah
Mike Tyson wouldn't bite. not when Evander Holyfield called up expecting an
apology. Not when Oprah suggested he finally make things right. Still missing
a bit of that ear? But, really, what's there to say after all these years?
"This is a beautiful guy," said Tyson, holding Holyfield's arm Friday in a
tender moment that surely had millions of Oprah fans reaching for tissues all
over the country. "I just want you to know it's been a pleasure passing
through life being acquainted with you." Tyson may have disappointed Oprah,
who invested not one, but two, shows in the former heavyweight champion this
week. But boxers don't usually say they're sorry about much, and, for all the
soul searching Tyson has been doing lately, he still remains convinced that
biting Holyfield's ear was just payback for being head butted in their
infamous 1997 fight. Besides, apologies are so overrated these days, as
Serena Williams showed us at the U.S. Open last month. No need to show any
sincere remorse when there are no real consequences for your actions. Rush
Limbaugh certainly wasn't apologizing this week for any of the incendiary
comments he made over the years getting in the way of his bid to buy the St.
Louis Rams. Much easier to blame someone else, like his partner in the effort
and the media who were involved in "repeating the lies" about him. Limbaugh's
scorched earth policy probably made him feel better about the whole botched
bid, though it ensured he will never have any part of the league he professes
to love. Florida State wasn't apologizing either, even after the release of
NCAA documents that indicated one "student-athlete" on the football team had
an IQ of 60 and others were reading at the second-grade level. Coach Bobby
Bowden has been in the game long enough to know that you don't beat Florida
by recruiting a bunch of Rhodes scholars. Then again, it had to be a bit
embarrassing to find out that in place of requiring SAT scores for admission,
recruits only had to prove they could master the illustrated version of "See
Spot Run." And there were no apologies coming out of Mannywood, even though
Manny Ramirez hasn't been able to hit an inside fast ball since he returned
from a 50-game suspension for using a female fertility drug and is a big drag
in the Dodger postseason lineup. Come to think of it, Manny hasn't apologized
for anything, and probably never will. It might also be that few apologize
anymore because it's so hard to do. Just look at LeGarrette Blount's formal
apology for decking a Boise State football player, which either took him
weeks to prepare or was done by the University of Oregon public relations
department. And consider the plight of Australian golfer Robert Allenby, who
went off on Anthony Kim after he was beaten badly by the young American on
the final day of the Presidents Cup last weekend. Allenby called Kim the
"loosest cannon on that team" and said he was doubly upset because he had it
on good word that Kim was out partying until four in the morning and was
probably suffering from a bad hangover when he beat him. When it came time
for offering the obligatory mea culpa, though, Allenby didn't go on Oprah.
Instead, the PGA Tour issued a vague statement saying that maybe someone
might have misinterpreted something he said and that he and Kim were still
great buddies no matter what. Kim accepted the apology via a tour issued
statement of his own, then headed for Las Vegas, where the tour issued a
statement that he missed the cut. Oprah had to be expecting more out of
Tyson, who first appeared Monday to talk about his tortured life and choke up
whenever he talked about his kids. The appearance was to promote his movie,
which consists of Tyson talking about his tortured life and choking up when
he talks about his kids. Holyfield apparently saw it and called Oprah asking
that she host a program where Tyson could say he was sorry, Holyfield could
forgive him, and everyone could share a group hug. It didn't quite turn out
that way, though Oprah tried her best. "Can you feel the love people have for
you?" she asked Tyson at one point. The way Tyson was pouring his heart out
to Oprah he seems sorry for a lot of things he has done in his life. Surely
he's sorry that he can't fight off a bizarre compulsion to keep telling the
world about them. But apologize for biting Holyfield's ear? Sorry, not a
chance.
Lambert comes out at AMA
"People are scared, and it's really sad. I just wish people could open their
minds up and enjoy things. It's all for a laugh -- it's really not that big
of a deal." So said Adam Lambert, who defended his show-closing,
edited-for-racy-content performance Sunday night at the American Music
Awards. If you didn't like it, tough cookies, Lambert told "Access
Hollywood": "I believe in artistic freedom and expression. I believe in
honoring the lyrics of a song, and those lyrics aren't really for everybody
either." During his song "For Your Entertainment," Lambert simulated a sex
act with a male dancer and kissed his male keyboardist -- a move he described
as spur-of-the-moment. ABC said more than 1,500 people called to complain,
according to The Associated Press. The performance was edited for the West
Coast broadcast of the awards show, which Lambert called "discrimination."
"Female pop artists have been doing things provocative like that for years,"
he said. On Twitter Monday morning, Lambert wrote: "All hail freedom of
expression and artistic integrity ... fans: I adore u."
Ex-Miss Argentina Dies After Butt-Implant Surgery
A former Miss Argentina died Sunday after elective surgery on her butt went
terribly wrong. According to several international reports, 37-year-old
Solange Magnano suffered a pulmonary embolism after going under the knife
Wednesday at a Buenos Aires medical center for a gluteoplasty – a procedure
which normally involves placing implants in the buttocks to improve their
outline. Solange -- a wife and mother of 7-year-old twins -- suffered a
pulmonary embolism the day after her surgery when liquid injected into her
buttocks "went to her lungs and brain." Authorities say the cause of death is
still under investigation. Solange won the crown back in 1994 -- and had
since created her own modeling agency.
ABC Cancels Another Adam Lambert Performance
As far as ABC is concerned, the controversy surrounding Adam Lambert still
hasn't cooled down enough for him to be handled. For the second time, the
network has canceled an appearance by the onetime American Idol favorite.
"Yes, sadly friends, ABC has canceled my appearances on Kimmel [1] and NYE,"
Lambert, 27, wrote on his Twitter account. ":( don't blame them. It's the FCC
heat." The singer's racy American Music Awards [2] performance earned the FCC
and the network thousands of complaints from viewers who thought his
homoerotic gyrations inappropriate for TV. ABC quickly nixed an appearance on
Good Morning America, saying his stage style was not suited for a morning
show – a move Lambert took in good humor. As for the latest snub from ABC,
he was still grinning and baring it – and looking forward to a gig on NBC
and New Year's possibilities. "I AM doing Leno though. And looking into
something for NYE," he Tweeted. "It'll all blow over. Let's focus on being
positive! :)" At this point, the openly gay American Idol star, who hasn't
waded into the charges that ABC is caving into homophobia, probably doesn't
want to hear advice from British actor Rupert Everett, who told the British
newspaper The Observer that he wishes he'd never come out. "The fact is that
you could not be, and still cannot be, a 25-year-old homosexual trying to
make it in the British film business or the American film business or even
the Italian film business," Everett, 50, says. "It just doesn't work and
you're going to hit a brick wall at some point. You're going to manage to
make it roll for a certain amount of time, but at the first sign of failure
they'll cut you right off." He adds: "Honestly, I would not advise any actor
necessarily, if he was really thinking of his career, to come out."

Porn star Sampson is seventh woman linked to Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods' other New York girl spent the day holed up in her plush Chelsea
pad Sunday after she was outed by the Daily News. Cori Rist is now one of at
least six women linked to the golf world's top swordsman. The 31-year-old
leggy and busty blond spent Sunday calling friends, saying, "My involvement
with Tiger Woods has just surfaced," according to a pal. Rist also had to
explain the sudden media attention to her 7-year-old son, who has idolized
Woods since his mother got him an autographed golf club from the Grand
Slam-winning legend. The alleged mistress' ex-husband, Neil Santos, stopped
at her apartment Sunday night to drop off their son but refused to comment.
Woods met Rist at New York hot spot Butter last year, The News' George Rush
and Joanna Molloy reported Sunday. "They went on to another party," an
insider told The News. "One thing led to another, and, pretty soon, Tiger was
flying her to hook up with him on tour." Rist said she is declining to
comment "at this time" on the fling, which lasted about six months, sources
said. She was last spotted at Butter with Woods and a party of friends on a
Monday night four weeks ago, a source said. Rist is said to have tired of
being secreted around the country for her hookups with Woods. "Tiger would
typically get a large suite at a hotel. Someone would book Cori an adjacent
room, so she wouldn't be seen coming into his room," an insider told Rush and
Molloy. "He would get the presidential suite," the source continued. "It was
the ultimate in luxury. The trouble is, he never wanted to leave the room."
Hailing from the small rural town of Rossford, Ohio, Rist moved to the city
determined tobecome a fashion model, butthe closest she got to her dream was
modeling swimsuits and activewear in catalogues, a friend said. She and
Santos married in 2002, but by 2005 the relationship was starting to sour. A
friend said Rist began taking mysterious trips around the country,
frequenting city nightclubs and dressing in expensive clothes and jewelry.
After her divorce was finalized in January 2008, she met Woods, she told
friends. She and Santos are battling in Family Court over custody of their
son, records show. As Woods remained in seclusion Sunday, talk-show queen
Oprah Winfrey reportedly called him to offer advice - and an outlet to tell
his side of the story. Image experts said it could be a good first step
toward repairing his image. While most of the women who have come out of the
woodwork were often flown around the world to meet him, Woods didn't have to
stray far from the comforts of his Florida home to find booze and blonds who
were not his wife.
