Karima Mukhtar

Her real name is Atiyat al Badri. She graduated from higher academy for theatrical arts in 1963 and was nominated by Baba Shari to host children programs.

In 1965, she appeared for the first time in the movies al Mostahil and Thaman al Horiya. She then starred in more than 25 movies like: al Hafid, Amirat Hobi Ana, Mada Qitar al Omor, Nahno La Nazra’ al Showk, Bi al Walidein Ihsanan, E’dam Talib Thanawi, Ya Rab Walad, Sa’ad al Yateem, al Motalaqa, Ismailiya Rayeh Jay, and Mabrouk wa Bolbol.

The television roles she has starred in are: Nahno La Nazra’ Showk, al Hawi, al A’mah Nour, Adham wa Zeinat wa Thalath Banat.

She received several awards like a critics awards for her role in the movie Wa Mada Qitar al Omor.

She is married to actor and director Nour al Damardash and has several children from him.
