A part of MBC" The Middle East Broadcasting Center" Group the free -to-air satellite broadcasting company in the Arab world which was launched in London in 1991 and later moved to its headquarters in Dubai in 2002.
MBC3 is the free-to-air children channel, it offers various series, movies and educational programs.
MBC has become regions first broadcaster to provide free-to-air HD channels by launching the HD versions of MBC3.
