A part of MBC"The Middle East Broadcasting Center" Goup the free -to-air satellite broadcasting company in the Arab world which was launched in London in 1991 and later moved to its headquarters in Dubai in 2002.

MBC Max is a 24- hour free-to-air  non-stop movies channel.

MBC has become regions first broadcaster to provide free-to-air HD channels by launching the HD versions of MBC Max.
