'Star Trek' Mexico Launch Hit by Swine Flu2009-04-30

Earlier this week the Mexico premiere of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' was postponed due to reported outbreaks of Swine Flu -- and now 'Star Trek' is the next film to fall victim to the epidemic.

The Mexico launch which was scheduled for May 8 has been postponed by Paramount, Variety reports.

According to the trade paper, Mexico City has virtually shut down. As of now the studios do not feel the flu epidemic will affect moviegoers in other areas.
