What does the future hold for TLC's reality stars Jon and Kate Gosselin? ET sits down with the managing editor for Entertainment Weekly Dalton Ross to get the inside scoop.

"As long as people are watching, the show will continue," Dalton says of "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

The show's stars Jon and Kate have been all over the tabloids for alleged infidelities that both have denied. On the season premiere of last night's show Kate said of their relationship, "very swiftly we turned into two different people."

When the couple was asked on the show what they think the future holds for their marriage, Kate responded, "I wish I knew."

Dalton says the couple's troubled marriage may not affect the show and could drive ratings up. He thinks people are "fascinated with how they're going to deal, not only with eight children, but with 800 photographers."

"Forget the day jobs, this is their career move," Dalton says of the parent's decision to star in a reality show. "Jon and Kate are a brand."
