CSI: NY: Madchen Amick to Heat Up Mac's Love Life2010-01-21
Madchen Amick will join the cast of CSI: NY in a recurring role later this season,TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Amick, perhaps best known for her roles in Twin Peaks and NBC's short-lived My Own Worst Enemy, will play a love interest for Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise). CBS isn't saying how Amick's character crosses paths with Mac or when her first episode will air.
Mac's love life has been a bit nonexistent since Season 3, when he hooked up with medical examiner Peyton Driscoll (Claire Forlani). That romance fizzled when Peyton left Mac and returned to her native England.
Amick also recently had guest gigs on Californication and Gossip Girl.
