Bensimon was arrested for allegedly hitting her boyfriend, Nicholas Stefanov, last week, the New York Daily News reports.
Stefanov, 30, claims his 40-year-old girlfriend punched him. According to the police report, he said that she hit him "with a closed fist, thereby causing informant to suffer a laceration below informant's left eye and substantial pain."
Bensimon, who is on her first season of the Bravo reality show, turned herself over to police, but says she's innocent.
"The allegations are by a jilted lover saying she struck him during the course of an argument. We deny the charges, and we are hopeful this will be resolved," her lawyer said.
