Jennifer Aniston Birthday

Friday is a big day for Jennifer Aniston: it's her 42nd birthday and the release date of her new comedy, Just Go With It. But there's some bad birthday news for the star...the flick has already received scathing reviews.

In the film, Jennifer stars alongside real-life friend Adam Sandler (the two used to hang out with each other in Los Angeles in their 20s) as his pretend wife so that he can impress a younger woman, played by Brooklyn Decker.

The film is star-studded, but critics are still not buying it.

The Chicago Sun-Times said: "The people in this movie are dumber than a box of Tinkertoys...Aniston is alert and amused, [but] she, too, is one tinker short of a toy."

Rolling Stone added: "Don't even think of going with it. It's the perfect Valentine's date night movie, but only with someone you hate."

Slate.com called the movie "so noxvious" and Variety branded it a "schmaltzy romantic comedy without the sweetness."

Well, guess that was a bust -- but Jennifer is busy planning her upcoming birthday vacation, anyway. Enjoy escaping it all, Jennifer!
