Reese Witherspoon Talks About New Marriage2011-04-11

Reese Witherspoon has spoken for the first time about her new marriage to agent Jim Toth.

Witherspoon and Toth tied the knot two weeks ago in California.

She told Hello! magazine, "The wedding was a wonderful experience. Everything went perfectly, right down to the dress, which I just loved. Monique (Lhuillier, designer) made it specially for me. She's been a family friend of Jim's for a very long time and it was an honour to be able to go into her atelier and have her make one of her beautiful gowns for me. I was just delighted."

Despite being previously married to Ryan Phillippe, as well as romantically linked with Jake Gyllenhaal, Witherspoon is convined Toth's her soulmate, as she said, "I knew he was The One all right. A clue was when he asked me to marry him and I said yes right away. Didn't have to think about it. It just feels like the right thing at the right time in my life... Everything's great with my kids. They get along with Jim really well. Well, obviously I wouldn't have married him if they hadn't.."

Witherspoon continued, "I don't profess to be an expert on love. I've had my ups and downs in relationships as you know, and as I get older I get more nervous about things, not less. And certainly I've had trepidation about getting into a relationship and getting married again."

Witherspoon's next film, Water for Elephants, is released on May 4th.
