Mentalist finale 'to change everything'2011-05-04

Fans of 'The Mentalist' have been told that things will never be the same again for investigator Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) after this season's finale. 

Speaking to TVGuide.com, the show's executive producer Ashley Gable, who wrote the first hour of the finale, said it "changes everything".

She continued: "There is a confrontation between Jane and [nemesis] Red John like we've never seen before."

Asked by TVGuide.com if this meant that fans of the show will see Red John, Gable replied: "There will be no scary masks in this episode."
