Kate Middleton started the week with a bang by turning 30 in an elegant Temperley London evening dress that was awfully reminiscent of her famous wedding gown. But she wasn't the only lacy contender of the week. Olivia Wilde's racy Monique Lhuillier gown gave the Duchess a run for her money—particularly when paired with that newly cropped 'do.

The People's Choice Awards gave us a bundle of fab looks to love, most notable of the night were nods to the flapper era with Lea Michele's fringed Marchesa masterpiece and Vanessa Hudgens' beaded Art Deco deisgn.

Award show season kicked into gear with the Critics' Choice Awards right on the heels of the PCAs. Diane Kruger's summery chiffon dress was a breath of fresh air amongst a sea of black and white this week (although Charlize Theron reminded us that a black gown is nothing to scoff at). And let's not forget Kate Beckinsale's ruthless hotness in her bombshell Donna Karan cocktail dress.
