Super Catchy Tune: Usher's 'Scream'2012-04-30

We won't be surprised if Usher's upcoming album Looking for Myself is his best work to date.
The album's first single, the Diplo-produced "Climax," was an exercise in slow-burning intensity, with the singer's mournful lyrics about love gone wrong taking on a haunting sensuality against Diplo's pulsing build-up. On Thursday, Usher released a worthy follow-up with "Scream," a tightly crafted club confection with a thumping Max Martin and Shellback beat.
"Scream" is thematically identical to many of Usher's most popular tracks, an ode to living in the moment, taking off one's clothes, and letting go of one's inhibitions. More specifically, it's about loud lovemaking, with charming lines like, "Now relax and get on ya back." There's no restraint with this club banger.
