It's been more than 15 years since the Spice Girls burst on the music scene with their anthems of girl power. They took the world by storm with their five distinct personalities, and now, after solo careers, ventures in the world of high fashion, TV hosting gigs, and raising families, the Girls are back for a reunion of sorts.
Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell has recruited her gal pals to join her in putting together a West End musical about the Spice Girls' rags-to-riches story. Viva Forever, as it's called, will hit the stage in December, but the promotional tour for the play has already begun. The Viva Forever marketing blitz started this week at the same London hotel where the Spice Girls' breakthrough hit "Wannabe" was shot, and all five Spices were on hand to celebrate their upcoming project.
Seeing Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger, and Posh smiling together again all these years later, it's as if nothing has changed, including their insane level of hotness. The Girls look better than ever, and they've definitely upgraded in terms of style.
