Update: Family & Friends Gather for Natasha Richardson's Funeral2009-03-22

Loved ones of actress Natasha Richardson assembled for a private funeral service near her family estate in upstate New York.

Richardson's husband Liam Neeson was one of the pallbearers who carried his wife's casket into St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Millbrook, NY. Among the celebrities spotted in the crowd were Ralph Fiennes, Holly Hunter and Uma Thurman.

A tented area was constructed in a section of a nearby cemetery, where Richardson is expected to be laid to rest later today.

The Tony Award-winning actress passed away on Wednesday following a skiing accident earlier in the week. She was 45.
