Adult film star Marilyn Chambers was found dead in her Los Angeles home, ET can confirm.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office tells ET Marilyn passed away Sunday at 9:05 p.m. An autopsy for Marilyn has been scheduled for this week.

The 56-year-old actress gained mainstream attention when she appeared in the 1972 film 'Behind the Green Door.' She was also a child model for Ivory Snow.
