It shows some examples of people who live in the huge residential building located in the city center, and how the political status and changes in Egypt have influenced every person living in this building.

The main two characters are Zaki El Desouky and Haj Azzam. The character Zaki was previously rich and the son of a known Basha but is now a normal old citizen who has his teenage fantasies spending most of his time chasing women. He is unemployed and has nothing better to do than avoid his evil sister who blames him for defaming their family’s name. The second character is Haj Azzam who was a shoe polisher in the old days and now is a very rich man with huge investments and is searching to enter the Egyptian assembly through his relations with some government officials.
