The government seizes Ibrahim’s property and forces him to live with his maid Oum Al Saad.
They get married and have a girl named Jalila. Several years pass and Jalila graduates from the institute of music and asks her uncle to help her financially but he rejects her and kicks her out of his house. Jalila then resorts to the court to regain her financial rights when her uncle asks her to marry his sick son Amro. Jalila feels sorry for him and marries him. They both travel abroad to seek treatment for Amro’s illness. Amro asks her to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization, but she refuses to do so because it is not accepted in Islam.
